When I have a ‘drawing-block’ and just don’t know where to start, I draw from my greatest inspiration Rene Gruau as a warm-up. This really helps to loosen up.
If you are blocked, I know the motto is “just start”, but when I can’t choose where to begin, I need some reference.
I’m also very drawn to these previous century dresses. The silhouettes and hats are so elegant and fun to draw. Don’t you think?
